MetMalaysia Issues Continuous Rain Warning in Kelantan and Terengganu

Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued a Continuous Rain Warning (Danger) expected to persist until tomorrow, affecting several districts in Kelantan and Besut in Terengganu.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia stated that the districts in Kelantan that are under the warning include Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Bachok, and Pasir Puteh. Besut in Terengganu is also covered by the warning.

Additionally, a Continuous Rain Warning (Severe) has been announced to last until November 26 for the entire states of Perlis, Kedah, and Penang. Several areas in Perak, including Kerian, Larut, Matang, and Selama, are also affected, as well as further districts in Kelantan like Jeli, Tanah Merah, Machang, and Kuala Krai. In Terengganu, the warning extends to Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu, Marang, Dungun, and Kemaman.

At the Alert level, continuous rain is also expected in certain districts of Perak (Hulu Perak, Manjung), Kelantan (Gua Musang), and Pahang (Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Jerantut, and Kuantan) during the same duration.
