Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds expected to affect five states and Labuan until 11 pm tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia's statement specified that the affected states include Perlis, Kedah (Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, and Kota Setar), and Pahang (Raub, Jerantut, and Temerloh).

Additionally, a similar warning has been issued for regions in Sabah, covering the Interior (Sipitang, Kuala Penyu, and Beaufort), the West Coast (Tuaran, Ranau, and Kota Belud), and Sandakan (Telupid, Beluran, and Sandakan).

In Sarawak, the areas expected to experience these weather conditions are Sri Aman (Lubok Antu), Sarikei (Julau), Sibu (Kanowit), Kapit (Song), Miri (Miri and Marudi), and Limbang.

The Federal Territory of Labuan is also anticipated to be affected by similar weather conditions, prompting residents and local authorities to remain vigilant.
