Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) is set to kick start its 2025 financial literacy initiative with the year's first 'My Money and Me' workshop in Kuala Lumpur. This will be held on 22 February 2025 at Balai Budaya Tun Syed Nasir, Wisma Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event will commence with a welcoming speech by Mr. Andy Ng Yen Heng, President of MFPC, followed by a keynote address by Mr. Azirruan Ariffin, Deputy Chief Executive of Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (PERKESO).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the 'My Money and Me' programme is an ongoing nationwide financial literacy programme coordinated by MFPC with its strategic partners to educate Malaysians with essential financial knowledge and practical skills to achieve financial stability and security. Aligned with the OECD theme for 2025, 'Think Before You Follow, Wise Money Tomorrow,' the 'My Money and Me' programme highlights the importance of financial awareness in an era of rapid economic changes.
