The initiatives aim to empower accountants by integrating sustainability into their professional practices and enhancing their role in promoting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the inaugural Sustainability Showcase, themed 'Empowering Accountants for a Sustainable Future', underscores the profession's vital role in embedding ESG principles into business operations. The initiative focuses on turning strategy into measurable impact and enhancing accountability within the accounting sector. The MIA believes these efforts will not only advance the profession but also contribute to a more sustainable future.
