Kuala lumpur: Cabinet Ministers today conveyed their congratulations to the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, in conjunction with the Ruler's 80th birthday today, accompanied by prayers that he continues to be blessed by Allah SWT with enduring health, happiness and divine grace. According to BERNAMA News Agency, Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil was among those who took to social media to express well-wishes. He extended his prayers for the continued protection of His Royal Highness, the Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, and the entire Selangor Royal family by Allah SWT. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said also conveyed her prayers for a long life for His Royal Highness, wishing for him to remain steadfast on the throne of Selangor Darul Ehsan with all glory and honour, while continuing to protect the people. The Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs), Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar, along with the staff of the religious affairs agency, also prayed for the Sultan's long life under Allah's protection. He expressed hopes that His Royal Highness would be blessed with good health, well-being, and wisdom to guide Selangor and its people with justice and prosperity. Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad extended his congratulations, sharing the Ministry of Health's prayers for the Sultan's continued blessings and protection by Allah. He concluded his message with wishes for a long reign for His Royal Highness, expressing loyalty with "Daulat, Tuanku" on Facebook.
