MN Holdings Joint Venture Secures RM49.99 Million Sub-contract for Data Centre

Kuala Lumpur: MN Holdings Bhd's (MNHB) unit, Mutu Nusantara Sdn Bhd, alongside its joint venture partner, Protech Builders Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a sub-contract valued at RM49.99 million from Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd. The sub-contract pertains to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing fit-out works for a data centre.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, details from a filing with Bursa Malaysia reveal that the scope of work includes the construction, testing, and commissioning of an underground substation system. This will also encompass associated power and control cabling works.

The project is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2025, with an expected completion date set for August 24, 2026. Following the substantial completion of the project, a 12-month warranty period will be in place, during which certain corrective works will be covered for up to two years.

MNHB anticipates that this project will positively impact the future earnings and net assets per share of the company.
