The ministry of finance: The Ministry of Finance (MOF) today denied a viral claim that all Malaysians aged 18 and above will receive a one-off RM100 Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) payment in conjunction with National Day.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the MOF addressed the issue in a social media post, clarifying that the poster making the claim was false. The ministry urged the public to refrain from believing or disseminating the misleading information.

The ministry emphasized that no official announcement has been made concerning the SARA payment as alleged in the circulating poster. They advised the public to seek information only through the Ministry of Finance's official channels to prevent the spread of misinformation that could lead to public confusion.
