Senawang: The Health Ministry (MOH) has approved an immediate allocation of RM805,700 to enhance operations at the Senawang Health Clinic here. Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad announced that RM588,400 of the total allocation would be directed towards the Health Clinic, while RM217,300 would be earmarked for the Dental Clinic. These funds are intended for repair and upgrading works and the procurement of necessary medical and non-medical assets.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the allocation includes several key initiatives, such as upgrading the Dental Clinic building to improve visitor comfort. Additionally, funding will be used to procure a new ultrasound machine, which is expected to enhance diagnostic capabilities. The acquisition of two new vehicles is also planned to improve the mobility of healthcare personnel in conducting field duties.
Minister Dzulkefly expressed his hope that this funding would ensure the delivery of more efficient, equitable, and comfortable healthcare services to the local community. He emphasized the crucial role of the facility as a primary healthcare hub, serving over 220,000 residents in the surrounding areas and handling an average of 1,000 patient visits daily.
