Pasir gudang: Pasir Gudang Hospital (HPG) is currently in the process of receiving health personnel from different locations across the nation, as the Health Ministry (MOH) initiates early preparations for the facility's opening.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Johor Health and Environment Committee chairman Ling Tian Soon confirmed that personnel have been assigned based on departmental needs, with tasks distributed to ensure efficient operations when the hospital becomes operational. Despite the announcement of a delayed opening, preparations have continued unabated.
Ling Tian Soon highlighted in a Facebook post that although the hospital's opening has been postponed, the arrival and organization of medical and non-medical equipment are ongoing, with staff actively engaged in arranging and registering these materials. Initially set to begin operations in stages on August 1, the hospital's opening has been pushed to next year due to technical issues, primarily a shortage of health personnel, including doctors and nurses.
The decision to delay was made in agreement with the MOH and the state government to prevent any complications from arising due to insufficient staff.
