Kuala lumpur: The Ministry of Health (MOH) will undertake a comprehensive study to enhance the execution of its national health personnel mobilisation. In a statement today, the ministry said the study will analyse the impact of the mobilisation programme and evaluate its feasibility going forward.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the MOH is committed to implementing continuous improvements to provide healthcare service delivery to the people, especially at health facilities. The MOH noted that this aligns with the government's agenda to democratise services, as stated by the Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Shamsul Azr Abu Bakar. He mentioned that the government is strengthening public service delivery by redeploying medical officers and police personnel to areas of greater need.

On December 7, at the National Convention for Public Service Reform, it was reported that 380 medical officers were involved in the mobilisation implementation at the headquarters and health facility levels. Besides the scheme for medical officers, the mobilisation also involves nurses and medical assistants.

The MOH added that this effort directly supports the Frontline Agency Strengthening Initiative, which mobilises civil servants to democratise healthcare service delivery under the Public Service Reform Agenda (ARPA) Reform Core 3: Organisational Development.
