Mohd Razali Appointed as Sabah’s New Federal Secretary

Kota kinabalu: The National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) deputy director-general, Datuk Mohd Razali Wahab, has been appointed as the new Sabah Federal Secretary, effective today. Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar extended his congratulations to Mohd Razali, 59, on this significant appointment.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohd Razali possesses a Bachelor of Social and Infrastructure Management (Hons) from Universiti Malaya and a Master's degree in Political Science from Meiji University, Japan. With over 31 years of experience in the civil service, Mohd Razali began his career as an assistant secretary at the Ministry of Information in 1994. In 2022, he served as the director of the Selangor Development Office before taking up the role of NADMA deputy director-general.

Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar expressed his confidence in Mohd Razali's leadership and experience, stating, "With his leadership and experience, I am confident that government service delivery will remain excellent, bringing a positive impact to the well-being of the people, particularly in Sabah."
