Kangar:Perlis: Perlis police have confirmed receiving another report against a male motivational speaker over an allegation of sexual harassment involving a 19-year-old female complainant.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Perlis police chief DCP Hamzah Hashim stated that the new report was received yesterday. The investigation is being conducted under several legal provisions, including Section 509 of the Penal Code, Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act.

The motivational speaker is currently under a two-day remand order, which ends today, in connection with a previous police report lodged in Padang Besar. Following his release on police bail, he will be re-arrested by Kangar police for further action.

An application for remand to aid investigations into the Kangar case will be submitted at the Kangar Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
