Muhammad Kamil Urges AMK To Refine Strategies To Win Support Of Voters Aged 45 And Below

Melaka: PKR Youth (AMK) has been urged to undergo a paradigm shift and refine its strategies to win the support of voters aged 45 and below, who make up the largest segment of the country's electoral roll.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, AMK chief Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim emphasized the importance of this move, especially after the recent Johor and Negeri Sembilan state elections, which necessitated a reassessment of the party's strengths and strategies in gaining public confidence. He addressed these points during his winding-up speech at the PKR National Congress held at the Melaka International Trade Centre.

Muhammad Kamil highlighted that voters aged 45 and below constitute the largest demographic in the electoral roll, making them crucial in securing electoral victories. He also urged grassroots leaders to focus beyond administrative tasks and enhance their leadership by understanding public concerns better.

He noted that despite positive feedback on the MADANI Government's performance, the elections in Johor and Negeri Sembilan revealed areas needing attention. Party leaders are encouraged to engage with rural communities, addressing their issues and providing solutions to gain their trust.

The AMK chief called for immediate action from grassroots leaders to identify and address public concerns, emphasizing the need for readiness for the upcoming general election. He reflected on PKR's historical ability to create electoral surprises and the necessity for the party's leadership and machinery to continue the reform agenda and convince grassroots supporters.
