Muong Than paddy field in Than Uyen district, Lai Chau province is considered one of the four largest rice fields in northwestern Vietnam. There is a famous local saying about these four fields: ‘First Muong Thanh, Second Muong Lo, Third Muong Than and four is Tac’. Muong Than paddy field is entering harvest season for the winter-spring crop, with golden colours covering the skyline.
