MyCARE Gaza Accountant Killed In Zionist Regime Attack

Gaza city: Humanitarian Care Malaysia (MyCARE) has confirmed that MyCARE Gaza accountant, Nour Al-Din Tayser Mustafa Dababesh, was killed in an attack by the Zionist regime at about 2.30 pm yesterday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MyCARE chief executive officer Kamarul Zaman Shaharul Anwar, in a statement today, said that five of Nour's family members, including his wife, grandmother, and older sister, were also killed, while his four children were injured. 'MyCARE Gaza manager Dr Ziad Shehada informed the organisation's headquarters of the incident via Telegram. Nour had served with MyCARE Gaza as an accountant since its establishment in 2014 and was responsible for managing the organisation's finances in Gaza,' he said, describing his death as a tremendous and tragic loss.

Kamarul Zaman stated that Nour had carried out his responsibilities with utmost integrity and added that Dr Ziad reported that his neighbourhood is being bombarded daily. He also noted that in June last year, MyCARE videographer Anas Ashour was also killed.

Kamarul Zaman urged the international community to continue pressuring Israel to stop the massacre of Palestinians, respect international law, restore the rights of the people, and allow humanitarian aid into Gaza. 'Let's continue to offer prayers for our brothers and sisters in Palestine. May Allah SWT protect them and grant them strength in facing this trial,' he added.
