MyNIlSe System Expansion to Motorcycle Lanes at Sultan Iskandar and Sultan Abu Bakar Complexes

Johor bahru: The National Integrated Immigration System (MyNIlSe) will be expanded to the motorcycle lanes at the Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) complexes of the Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) and the Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB) starting October 15. Johor Public Works, Transport, Infrastructure and Communications Committee chairman Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh announced that the expansion will involve seven motorcycle exit lanes at both BSI and KSAB.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh mentioned that with this expansion, motorcycle users will benefit from faster and more convenient immigration clearance. They will have the option to use either the MyNIISe or MyBorderPass systems, both offering high-speed functions. He emphasized that this digital transformation initiative is aimed at ensuring that the border crossing process is efficient, secure, and user-friendly.

MyNIISe serves as the official application of the Malaysian Immigration Department, integrating various immigration services and facilities into a single digital platform. It is available for download on the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Huawei AppGallery. The Home Ministry initiated a trial run of the MyNIISe system at CIQ BSI and KSAB on September 22, which will continue until February 28 of the following year.

During the trial period, the current QR code system and the MyBorderPass application will continue to be operational. The MyNIISe system is a significant component of the government's reform agenda, with its implementation date moved forward from the original March 2026 schedule to expedite digital transformation efforts.
