Kuala Lumpur: Borrowers of the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) have the opportunity to win cash prizes totalling RM25,000 through the 'myPTPTN Anytime, Anywhere!' campaign from Jan 1 to March 31.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, PTPTN chief executive officer Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid stated that borrowers can participate via the myPTPTN app, with 25 winners set to receive RM1,000 each in the form of loan repayment credits. He mentioned a special category for the 2.5 millionth new user who successfully downloads the myPTPTN app and completes identity verification, offering a cash prize of RM2,500 also in the form of loan repayment credits.

Participation in the campaign is automatic for borrowers who make a minimum repayment of RM100 during the campaign period, which entitles them to 10 draws. New users registering on myPTPTN during the campaign will be eligible for 20 draws, thereby increasing their chances of winning.

Ahmad Dasuki further explained that borrowers could use the myPTPTN web app to negotiate flexible repayment plans, enabling them to restructure their loans according to their financial capabilities. This initiative aims to ease the financial burden on borrowers while promoting timely repayments.
