N.Sembilan Polls: PN Unveils 11 Candidates

Ampangan: Perikatan Nasional (PN) tonight unveiled its line-up of 11 candidates for the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election. The list comprises five candidates from PAS, four from Parti Wawasan Negara (Wawasan), and one each from Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (Gerakan) and the Malaysian Indian People's Party (MIPP). PN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar announced the line-up at the PAS Complex (Kompas) in Kampung Ismail, Ampangan here. According to BERNAMA News Agency, nominations for the state election are scheduled for Saturday, with early voting set to occur on July 28, followed by polling on August 1. The event marks a significant step for the political landscape in Negeri Sembilan as parties prepare for the upcoming election. The list of candidates announced covers various constituencies across the state. For N04 Klawang, the candidate is Danni Rais from Wawasan. Mohd Fairuz Mohd Isa from PAS is set to contest in N05 Serting, while Dr. P. Kumar, also from PAS, will stand in N11 Lobak. Datuk R azali Abu Samah and Datuk Dr Mohamad Rafie Ab Malek from Wawasan and PAS, respectively, will contest in N13 Sikamat and N14 Ampangan. For the Bukit Kepayang constituency, Lee Boon Shian from Gerakan has been announced as the candidate. Erik Michael from Wawasan will contest in N23 Mambau, and Kamarol Ridzuan Mohd Zain from PAS is slated for N25 Paroi. Sathes Kumar Nilameham from MIPP will represent N30 Lukut, Abdul Fatah Zakaria from PAS is contesting in N31 Bagan Pinang, and Ridzuan Ahmad from Wawasan will stand in N34 Gemas.
