Nearly 590 tonnes of rice from the national reserve has been allocated to the south-central province of Ninh Thuan to support local people during the between-crop period in 2024. Under Prime Minister’s Decision No 465/QD-TTg, 9,518 households in five districts, namely Bac Ai, Ninh Son, Ninh Phuoc, Thuan Bac and Thuan Nam, will get rice assistance. The beneficiaries are poor, near-poor households and those in extremely difficult circumstances.
