Seoul:Negeri Sembilan The Negeri Sembilan Government is currently awaiting the consent of Yang Dipertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir for the proposed dates of the upcoming State Legislative Assembly sitting.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim has stated that the sitting is planned to occur over five days, starting on November 26, pending royal approval.

The government previously announced these plans, with the intention to table the state's Budget 2027 on November 27. Despite uncertainties, the government is making efforts to secure the necessary consent for the assembly to proceed as scheduled. Additionally, there are concerns about the potential automatic dissolution of the assembly if it does not convene by February next year, which requires a thorough examination of the state constitution provisions.
