Kuala lumpur: The Johor State Government and local authorities have initiated a thorough investigation into the Network School in Forest City, emphasizing that any breaches of law or licensing conditions will not be tolerated.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, announced that firm actions, including the potential revocation of the company's operating licence or permit, would be enforced if any violations were discovered. He highlighted that issues concerning the entry of foreign nationals fall under the Home Ministry's jurisdiction, but the local authorities are committed to scrutinizing the situation in detail.

Yesterday, Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi revealed that the Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) had issued a Stop-Business Notice to the premises tied to Network School. This action followed the company's failure to adhere to business licence and premises usage regulations, as they were found to be conducting educational activities from a business office.

Inspections unveiled that the institution was operating out of two locations-one with a valid business office licence and another operating without an MBIP business licence, despite being owned by a Malaysian citizen.

The situation gained attention after social media posts went viral, alleging without official verification, that Network School was linked to an Israeli agenda aiming to establish a foothold in Malaysia through currency investment activities.
