Kota kinabalu: The newly formed Sabah Cabinet is committed to working in close cooperation to drive the state's prosperity and progress over the next five years, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor. He stated that the state government possesses a strong capacity to deliver on this commitment, based on its achievements during the previous term and the holistic, inclusive, and comprehensive Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 2.0 development plan, which will be launched next year.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Hajiji emphasized the necessity of strengthening the state administration to ensure continued political stability and sustained development. "With this new administration, the Cabinet members and I will reinforce our commitment to maintaining stability and supporting a political agenda anchored on unity and development," he noted.
Hajiji also declared his role as the Chief Minister for all, serving the people of Sabah fairly and without prejudice towards background, ethnicity, or religion. This statement was made after he chaired the first state Cabinet meeting at Menara Kinabalu.
In his announcement, he revealed the portfolios of the 17 assistant ministers who were sworn in before Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Musa Aman at Istana Seri Kinabalu the previous day.
