No Compromise On Governance, Integrity Across KPKM Entities – Mohamad Sabu

Kuala lumpur: The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) will not compromise on any management weaknesses or non-compliance that could affect public interest within its agencies and subsidiaries. Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu emphasized that the ministry will continue to strengthen oversight of governance, integrity, and financial management across all its agencies and subsidiaries.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohamad Sabu stated, "I want every organisation under KPKM to be managed transparently, with integrity, and in full compliance with the rules and procedures set out." He highlighted that any management weaknesses, non-compliance, or issues potentially impacting public interest must be identified and addressed promptly.

Mohamad further stated that agencies and subsidiaries are required to ensure that all decisions, procurements, and the utilization of public funds are conducted responsibly and accountably. He stressed the importance of safeguarding the people's trust, ensuring that every ringgit of public money is managed effectively and efficiently.
