Kuala lumpur: The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has denied allegations of mass resignations or the dissolution of the governing body's Executive Committee (Exco) members. FAM acting president Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mahadi addressed the rumors in a statement today, clarifying that the information spreading on social media is untrue and baseless.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohd Yusoff emphasized that the appointment and election of all FAM Exco members were conducted through legal and constitutional channels. These processes were the result of voting at the FAM Congress and were in line with the FAM Statute and the guidelines set by the international football governing body.
Furthermore, Mohd Yusoff reiterated that the current leadership structure remains dedicated to fulfilling its responsibilities and ensuring the governance and development of national football continue smoothly. FAM is committed to maintaining transparency, professionalism, and integrity in its operations to serve the interests of Malaysian football.
