Paroi: Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) still have a chance to improve their position in the Super League standings despite only managing a draw in their latest match against Melaka FC last night, according to interim head coach K. Rajan. He expressed optimism that the team can secure maximum points from their remaining two matches to climb higher in the league table.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Hobin Jang Hobin squad must aim for the full six points from their upcoming matches to keep their advancement hopes alive. Coach K. Rajan emphasized the importance of the next games and noted, "We can still keep fighting as there are two matches left and we need to collect maximum points. we need to secure the full six points from both matches to move up the league standings."
NSFC settled for a point following a goalless draw with Melaka FC at Stadium Tuanku Abdul Rahman. As a result, the team remains in seventh place with 25 points, trailing Imigresen FC who have 28 points. Melaka FC holds the 11th position with 18 points.
Melaka FC head coach E. Elavarasan acknowledged his team's fortune in not conceding any goals, despite NSFC's dangerous chances. He highlighted the team's focus after a missed penalty by NSFC and the strategic changes made in the second half to counter NSFC's fast right-sided attack.
Looking ahead to their match against Kuching City FC, Elavarasan stated that Melaka FC will strive for a positive outcome, recognizing the challenge posed by the balanced and experienced Kuching City FC side.
