Kuala selangor: The opening of the Eco Grandeur Interchange on the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR) is anticipated to deliver notable socio-economic benefits as highlighted by Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi during the launch of the new access route.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the interchange enhances connectivity for users from Eco Business Park V and Eco Grandeur to major highway networks such as the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), the West Coast Expressway (WCE), and the Damansara-Shah Alam Expressway (DASH). Nanta emphasized that the new access will generate opportunities for communities along the west coast corridor, with many foreign investors already establishing businesses in Eco Business Park V. This development is expected to make the area more accessible and appealing to investors, thereby stimulating the industrial sector.

The opening ceremony of the Eco Grandeur Interchange on LATAR saw the presence of Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari and EcoWorld chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah. The interchange, located at kilometre 7.50 between the Ijok and Puncak Alam interchanges, was developed by EcoWorld to provide new access to the mixed development areas of Eco Business Park V and Eco Grandeur in Mukim Ijok, Kuala Selangor.

Nanta noted that the new alignment is expected to alleviate long-standing traffic congestion, particularly along Jalan Meru Tambahan and Persiaran Mokthar Dahari. Meanwhile, Amirudin remarked that the interchange will serve as a gateway to boosting economic prosperity in Selangor's Northern Corridor. The route, stretching 3.07 kilometres, is set to connect Ijok and Kuala Selangor specifically, further enhancing regional connectivity.
