Kuala Lumpur: More than 130 activities await visitors at the National Youth Day (HBN) 2025 celebration at Dataran Merdeka here, beginning tomorrow until this Sunday. Malaysian Youth Council (MBM) secretary-general Ahmad Farhan Rosli shared that the event, themed 'Yakin Boleh', will focus on five main segments - Port Jana Duit (TVET and careers), Port Healing (mental health), Port Gaming (e-sports), Port Wadah Insan (youth expression), and the ASEAN Pavilion, featuring youth participation from all 10 ASEAN countries.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, this year's celebration will include a variety of segments such as the ASEAN Youth Concert, MYFutureJobs career and entrepreneurship exhibition, talks by digital content creators, an automotive and motorcycle showcase, and TVET and youth technology exhibitions. Ahmad Farhan mentioned that the celebration will also feature challenges, interactive workshops, and forums involving young personalities in technology, innovation, and leadership.
Ahmad Farhan added that the highlight of the celebration is scheduled to be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at 8 pm this Saturday. The event will also present the Anugerah Perdana Belia Negara 2025 honour and performances by local artistes. He encouraged the public, especially youth, to join in the variety of activities offered throughout the HBN 2025 celebration, reflecting the continuous commitment of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, MBM, and strategic partners to empower youth development through an inclusive, progressive approach in line with the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
