Over 60,000 Benefit From YAPEIM’s ‘Korban Al-Falah’ Initiative

Kuala Lumpur: More than 60,000 recipients have benefited from the 'Korban Al-Falah' initiative by the Malaysian Islamic Economic Development Foundation (YAPEIM), which involved 145 cows across 126 locations nationwide. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar said that during the programme, held from June 7 to 10, a total of 12,000 kilogrammes of meat were distributed to asnaf groups, religious teachers, and those in the B40 income category.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, this initiative not only reflects values of compassion and solidarity, but also reinforces the concept of a MADANI Malaysia, while advancing the agenda of uplifting the ummah's welfare through inclusive approaches and strategic collaboration. He said this in a Facebook post today.

He also expressed his appreciation to YAPEIM and the thousands of volunteers who worked tirelessly and with full dedication to ensure the programme's success. The community's contributions and support are the backbone of this initiative. Every ringgit and every sacrifice offered becomes a beacon of hope for those in need, he said.

Mohd Na'im further urged more organisations and individuals to support similar initiatives as part of sustained efforts to uplift the welfare of the people.
