Kuala lumpur: Over 87,000 students nationwide have benefited from free tuition under the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) Nurture Digital Learning (DILEA) initiative since it was introduced in July last year.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the NADI Nurture DILEA coordinator, Siti Fatimah Mohd Saman, stated that the platform supported learning for students aged 13 to 18 through a Learning Management System (LMS). This system enables students to access their accounts at the centre and attend live classes according to the set schedule. The DILEA system contains all necessary learning elements aimed at offering students a variety of up-to-date and engaging learning methods.
Siti Fatimah added that over 100 tuition teachers are actively involved in delivering lessons under the programme. All learning activities are conducted online using digital technology, and the community is encouraged to visit NADI to utilize the facilities available at the centre. She shared these insights at the Kelantan MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2025, held at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium.
NADI Nurture DILEA, supported by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), aims to provide free benefits to the community through five core elements. These elements include Academic Live Class Guidance, which consists of Open Tuition and Guidance Tuition; Guidance and Progress Assessment; English Language Mastery; Revision Videos; and Special Programmes.
Siti Fatimah mentioned that the PMR 2025 in Kelantan serves as a platform for NADI Nurture DILEA to expand its outreach and promote free digital education to the community. The three-day Kelantan PMR 2025, running until August 9, is spearheaded by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) in collaboration with the Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister's Department (ICU JPM), with support from various ministries and government agencies.
The programme offers more than 100 direct services to the public, showcases the latest technologies, and features various community outreach initiatives, all part of the holistic MADANI government approach.
