Pahang 1st Aspiration to Lead East Coast: Wan Rosdy

Kuantan: The Aspirasi Pahang 1st vision aims to position Pahang as a leader on the east coast, announced Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail. This vision, rooted in leadership and unity, is designed to drive Pahang's progress in development, governance, environmental sustainability, and the preservation of cultural and religious values.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Wan Rosdy emphasized that Aspirasi Pahang 1st is not just a slogan but a comprehensive state policy across all sectors. During the launch at the SUKPA Indoor Stadium, he highlighted that this vision is a guiding principle and agenda for the state.

The concept serves as a benchmark for the state government to focus on competitiveness and innovation, with projects like the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) and the Halal Industrial Park showcasing Pahang's commitment to creating high-value job opportunities and establishing the state as a hub for economic growth and Industry 4.0.

Wan Rosdy mentioned the Pahang Economic Transformation Master Plan 2025-2030 (PET30), a strategic initiative aimed at reshaping the state's economic landscape, projecting an increase in state revenue to RM2 billion within five to ten years.

The aspiration also seeks to strengthen Pahang's identity through religion, heritage, and national values, which form the foundation for sustainable development. Wan Rosdy envisioned Pahang as a model of progress, balancing modernity with courtesy and strong moral values.

To develop future leaders, the establishment of the Pahang 1st Academy was announced. This platform will nurture individuals with leadership qualities and love for the state, focusing on patriotism, leadership, critical thinking, communication, and state diplomacy skills.
