Pahang Export Day 2026 Poised to Propel Local Companies onto Global Stage

Pahang: The upcoming Pahang Export Day 2026 on September 7 will serve as a pivotal platform for local companies aiming to broaden their global footprint, reinforcing Pahang's standing in international trade.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) announced that Pahang has a solid base with 146 companies listed in MATRADE's Malaysian Exporter Database (MER) as of July 2026. This foundation presents significant market opportunities for local entrepreneurs eager to capitalize on global trade prospects.

MATRADE highlighted that these figures reveal substantial market potential, offering a golden opportunity for local entrepreneurs to register, explore export advisory services, and increase the participation of Pahang-based companies in the global marketplace.

The agency reiterated its commitment to enhancing the state's export momentum, which reached RM38.46 billion by 2025. The Pahang Export Day 2026 will also serve as a platform to introduce various support services from both government and private institutions.

MATRADE emphasized that the event aims to align with the state government's goals of cultivating competitive exporters among entrepreneurs, in accordance with Pahang's entrepreneurial aspirations and policies.

Confidence was expressed by the agency in Pahang's potential to nurture high-potential companies capable of international expansion, with sustained support from the national trade ecosystem.

The programme, organised by MATRADE and set to take place at the Grand Darul Makmur Hotel, is expected to attract around 200 local entrepreneurs, focusing on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
