Part Of Jalan Sg Pinang-Jalan Jelutong Closed For 10 Days

Kuala lumpur: The leftmost lane of Jalan Sungai Pinang heading towards Jalan Jelutong will be partially closed for 10 days starting from tomorrow to facilitate utility relocation works by Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Sungai Pinang state assemblywoman Lim Siew Khim announced that the 24-hour closure would commence at 9 am tomorrow and conclude at 11.59 pm on September 6. The closure affects the section of the leftmost lane between the Lebuh Bakau junction and the Jalan Sungai Pinang-Jalan Jelutong traffic light intersection.

"As an alternative, road users can use Lebuh Bakau to head towards Jalan Jelutong, while other lanes will remain open to traffic," Lim stated in a Facebook post tonight.

Lim, who also serves as the state Social Development, Welfare and Non-Islamic Religious Affairs Committee chairman, advised road users to exercise caution when navigating through the affected area. She emphasized that safety signboards, traffic cones, and flagmen would be deployed to manage traffic control and ensure the safety of all parties involved.
