PDRM and Melaka Government Collaborate for Blue Serenade Charity Dinner on Dec 28.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), in partnership with the Melaka government, is set to organize the Blue Serenade Charity Dinner Live With PDRM Orchestra at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC) on December 28. According to BERNAMA News Agency, the event is part of the Visit Melaka Year 2024 celebrations and will showcase performances by renowned local artists such as Datuk Jamal Abdillah, Ziana Zain, Ella, and Jo Branko. These artists will perform alongside 75 musicians from the PDRM Orchestra, creating a musical spectacle for attendees. Bukit Aman Director of Management, Datuk Seri Azmi Abu Kassim, stated that the primary aim of the event is to raise funds for the police welfare fund and to strengthen the bond between PDRM and the community. The funds generated will be utilized to repair and upgrade musical instruments for the PDRM band and to support the welfare of PDRM personnel, especially those whose homes were damaged in the recent floods. Azmi further mentioned that the event w ill not only feature musical performances but also a Community Policing Carnival in the morning. This carnival will include exhibition booths, traffic summons discount counters, and opportunities for the public to engage with the PDRM leadership. The charity dinner is expected to be graced by the presence of Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh, and Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain.
