Perak: The Perak Football Association (PAFA) has successfully secured the services of Nigerian midfielder Christian Chukwu, who is set to strengthen the Perak FA squad for the 2025/26 A1 Semi-Pro League campaign. PAFA president Datuk Mohd Azhar Jamaluddin announced the arrival of the 23-year-old player from Abia, praising his skills and potential contributions to the team.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Christian Chukwu previously played for Marryland Nigeria and is recognized as an attacking midfielder with the ability to orchestrate attacks and maintain excellent ball control. His presence is expected to add creative options in midfield, providing a new dimension to Perak FA's attacking play.
Mohd Azhar expressed his excitement over Christian's inclusion in the team and mentioned that the player has already been registered to make his debut in the highly anticipated 'Northern Derby' against Kedah FA. The match is scheduled to take place at the Manjung Municipal Council Stadium tonight.
