IPOH, Perak Menteri Besar Incorporated (MB Inc) through its subsidiary, Amanjaya Global Sdn Bhd continues to achieve excellence when it won the Best License Holder in the Radioactive Substances Category (Control VI) for the year 2021 – 2023 by the Department of Atomic Energy Malaysia recently.
The second recognition event was held in conjunction with the Technical Symposium of the Department of Atomic Energy 2024 with the theme “3S Empowerment Right Today, Better Tomorrow” which was opened by the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Chang Lih Kang.
Perak MB Inc chief executive officer, Anuar Zainal Abidin said the corporation had received the same award for the year 2018-2020 in 2022 by the Atomic Energy Licensing Board for excellent management in managing the Repository Site, Mukim Belanja which is regulated by Amanjaya Global Sdn. Bhd.
Anuar said Perak MB Inc was the only licensee from the state selected for the category out of more than 1,810 licensees nationwide.

econd recognition and hopefully this award will be a catalyst for other state government-related companies to continue contributing to the development and excellence of the state of Perak together,” he said in a statement today.
The award was evaluated based on several important criteria including excellent radiation safety management, efficient radiological monitoring, community initiatives such as corporate social responsibility or knowledge sharing related to radiation safety awareness, no legal action from the authorities and no radiological and nuclear accidents.
