Perak: The Perak MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2026, held at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah, Meru Raya, has significantly impacted the community by providing various benefits and knowledge to visitors from different walks of life.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, visitors generally found the programme valuable, noting that it provided a platform for the public to better access government facilities and services. Many expressed the desire for the programme to continue in the future.
Wan Fatisha Fitri Azizan, a 19-year-old student from the Teacher Education Institute (IPG) Ipoh Campus, remarked that the programme's content was well-suited to the needs of today's students. She highlighted the opportunity it provided to delve deeper into the concept of MADANI Malaysia, focusing on the six main thrusts that underpin the national agenda.
Her classmate, Nur Syafiqah Eimyhisham, also 19, described the initiative as inclusive, noting that it considered the welfare of students by offering various forms of assistance and incentives. She appreciated the relaxed yet meaningful way information was conveyed, particularly through interactive 'Pocket Talk' sessions.
Cleaner Hawariah Junid, 48, from Malim Nawar, attended the event to explore exhibition booths and obtain basic necessities. She was particularly interested in the MADANI Sale and various government agency exhibitions, which expanded her knowledge of initiatives she was previously unaware of.
Her husband, security guard Rosli Ismail, 51, brought their four children to learn about government services through the exhibitions. Despite the hot weather, they made preparations such as bringing umbrellas and hand fans, emphasizing the educational aspect of the programme for their children.
Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS) student Muhammad Aiman ??Abd Razak, 25, stated that direct interaction with law enforcement agencies helped him understand the broader scope of their responsibilities. He expressed a desire for such programmes to be expanded, allowing more people to gain insights into government policies and initiatives.
