Perlis BN Confident Of Making A Comeback In GE16.

KANGAR: Barisan Nasional (BN) secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir is confident that BN in Perlis will be able to regain control of the state in the 16th general election (GE16). He believes that the people have begun to evaluate and compare the performance of the current Unity Government’s elected representatives with that of the party’s leadership in Perlis.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dr Zambry emphasized the importance of public perception, stating, “Of course, the most important thing is how the people will make an assessment of the current (state) government with what was done under BN (in the past). On the overall, of course, the people will think that the best government is from BN and the Unity Government that exists today.” He expressed confidence that the public could distinguish between the achievements during the BN’s tenure and the current state government.

Dr Zambry, who also serves as the Minister of Higher Education, highlighted the promising potential for BN to reclaim
Perlis, citing a well-organized party machinery and strong spirit of cooperation and unity within the party. He shared these remarks during the Perlis BN Convention, which he officiated, with Perlis BN chairman Datuk Rozabil Abdul Rahman in attendance.

Furthermore, Dr Zambry announced plans for a national BN Convention on November 30, followed by a large-scale BN rally on December 7, as part of the party’s efforts to galvanize support and prepare for the upcoming electoral challenge.
