Perlis Mosques to Donate Friday Fund Collections to Aid Aceh Flood Victims

Kangar: The Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs) has announced that funds collected from the Friday Fund at all mosques throughout Perlis will be fully allocated to aid flood victims in Aceh. This initiative, set for tomorrow, December 19, aims to support the Aceh Flood Victims Humanitarian Aid Fund.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, emphasized the enduring bonds of 'ukhuwah' (fraternity) and the universal spirit of humanity. His Royal Highness urged the residents of Perlis to unite in their efforts to provide relief to those suffering from the devastating floods in Aceh.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin expressed a sincere hope that the contributions from Perlis would aid in recovery and rebuilding efforts for the affected communities in Aceh. He described this assistance as a testament to the spirit of brotherhood and compassion shared among the people.

His Royal Highness, who also serves as the president of MAIPs, concluded by invoking blessings for all contributions and strength for those affected, as they navigate through this challenging time.
