Kuala lumpur: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) has denied any involvement in a reported fuel supply deal involving a local government unit in the Philippines. Petronas has clarified that it is not part of any proposed fuel supply arrangement as suggested by recent media reports.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Petronas stated that it "is not aware of, nor involved in, any such arrangement, and has not entered into any related agreement or commitment." The company emphasized its priority to ensure Malaysia's reliable and continuous fuel supply, which it supports through established supply networks and close coordination with the government. Petronas reiterated its commitment to this priority in a statement released today.
