Kuala lumpur: Pakatan Harapan (PH) will not take lightly or underestimate the emergence of several new political parties such as Parti Wawasan Negara and Parti Bersama Malaysia, said PH Communications director Datuk Fahmi Fadzil. He emphasized that the coalition's focus would be on strengthening its engagement with the populace and effectively addressing their issues.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fahmi highlighted recent successes, such as Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh's efforts in resolving the 44-year housing wait for the residents of Rumah Panjang Bukit Kiara. He stressed the importance of selecting leaders who are clean, competent, and forward-thinking for the nation's future.
When questioned about PH's strategies for the upcoming Johor state election, Fahmi, who also serves as the PKR information chief, mentioned that the screening process for potential candidates is underway. The final list of candidates will be announced following approval from the party leadership. The Election Commission has scheduled July 11 as the polling day for the Johor state election, with the nomination day set for June 27 and early voting slated for July 7.
