Kelantan: Kelantan The Real Warriors (TRW) can now breathe a sigh of relief after the Malaysian Football League (MFL) confirmed that the club's player transfer ban has been lifted, effective today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, MFL announced that they had received notification from the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) confirming the resolution of the club's outstanding wage issues. These issues were previously reported to both FAM and the F©d©ration Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
The statement from MFL also noted that the Professional Footballers Association of Malaysia (PFAM) had officially informed them about receiving settlement agreement documents. These documents involved 23 players from last season and Kelantan The Real Warriors, which facilitated the lifting of the player transfer ban.
Kelantan TRW had previously encountered three player transfer bans imposed by FAM, MFL, and FIFA following wage arrears issues during the 2025/2026 season.
The team is currently positioned in 10th place in the 2025/2026 Super League standings, with 15 points accumulated from 16 matches.
