PM Anwar Commences Strategic Engagements in Sabah

Kota kinabalu: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who also serves as the president of PKR, has embarked on a two-day visit to Sabah, commencing today. His itinerary includes a series of engagements aimed at marking the 27th anniversary of Reformasi, with planned stops in Inanam, Tawau, and Sandakan.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar is scheduled to touch down at Kota Kinabalu International Airport this afternoon. His visit will feature three Keadilan gatherings, with the first event slated for 3.00 pm at Dewan Pisompuruan, Kampung Kobuni, Inanam. The day's itinerary will continue with a second gathering at 6.30 pm at the Merotai Besar Village Community Centre, Tawau, and will conclude with a final event at 9.30 pm at Dewan Yu Yuan, Sandakan.

The Prime Minister's agenda for tomorrow begins with a breakfast event, Majlis Sarapan Mesra Wira Samudera, at 8.00 am at the Malaysian Armed Forces Quarters Complex in Taman Samudera, Sandakan. This will be followed by his attendance at the Jelajah Wira Madani event and the 20th anniversary celebration of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) at the Sandakan MMEA Zone Complex at 9.30 am.

Anwar's visit to Sabah is expected to conclude with his departure for Batu Berendam International Airport in Melaka.
