Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has condemned the Zionist regime's actions in attacking six countries. He stated that these attacks demonstrate the regime's aggressive and inhumane behavior, which is openly supported by global powers.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar expressed his concerns over the situation, highlighting that a single country could act so brazenly by attacking six nations within a short span of one to two weeks. He made these remarks while closing the National Gathering of Religious Agencies of Malaysia (IJPAM) 2025. The event was also attended by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar.
Anwar announced his plans to attend the Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit in Doha on Monday, September 15. The summit is aimed at reaffirming Malaysia's support for the Palestinian cause and condemning the violence enacted by the Zionists. As a result, Anwar stated he would be unable to attend several official events scheduled domestically over the next couple of days.
The Prime Minister received an official invitation from the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, to participate in the summit. The meeting will focus on the critical situation in Palestine, with particular emphasis on Gaza.
International media outlets have reported that Israel launched attacks on six different countries over the course of three days. The countries affected include Qatar, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia, and Yemen. Notable incidents include a drone strike on a significant vessel of the Global Sumud Flotilla in Tunisia and an airstrike in Doha allegedly targeting the Hamas political leadership.
