PM Anwar Returns After Successful Three-Nation African Tour

Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived home at 9.15 am today after completing a three-nation tour of Africa. In a Facebook post, he described the MADANI Diplomacy Mission as having achieved significant outcomes by strengthening ties, opening new opportunities, and expanding strategic cooperation across the continent.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar emphasized the importance of translating these commitments and agreements into policies and actions that provide tangible benefits to both the people and the nation. His return journey began from Nairobi, where he departed on a chartered Malaysia Airlines flight from the State Pavilion Terminal at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 7 pm local time yesterday, which was midnight in Malaysian time.

The seven-day visit saw Anwar starting in Ethiopia from November 18 to 20, continuing in South Africa from November 20 to 23 for the G20 Leaders' Summit, and concluding in Kenya from November 23 to 24. He was accompanied by key figures, including Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Datuk Seri Zaliha Mustafa, senior officials, and a delegation of business leaders.
