Perak: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today took time off from his busy schedule to visit Datuk Mohd Zolkafly Harun, the Perak State Rural Development, Plantation, Agriculture, and Food Industries Committee chairman, who recently underwent surgery. The visit took place at the state executive council member's residence following Anwar's participation in the Ipoh Sentral development project's groundbreaking ceremony.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Prime Minister's visit was part of his working itinerary in Perak. During the visit, Anwar and Zolkafly discussed various current issues impacting the public and the development of the state. Anwar also conveyed his prayers for the speedy recovery of the Lintang State Assemblyman, highlighting the significance of Zolkafly's role in state governance.
Earlier in the day, as part of his official duties, Anwar officiated the MADANI Dairy Carnival at the Perak Farm Fresh Dairy Complex in Larut. He also took the opportunity to inspect the construction project for a new road connecting Kamunting to Anak Kurau, under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development's Rural Road Programme (JALB), which is now in its second phase in Larut Matang Selama (LMS).
