Putrajaya: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today received a courtesy visit from the delegation of the United States-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC), which expressed its commitment to continue investing in Malaysia. The meeting was held at the Perdana Putra Complex, where Anwar engaged with the delegation led by US-ABC Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director Brian D. McFeeters.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar shared on X that multinational company representatives provided positive feedback following last year’s meeting. He noted that new collaborations have been established and solutions to existing issues were facilitated. The discussions also covered approaches to strengthen industry development, focusing on policies, skilled workforce, and funding.

Anwar highlighted the necessity for ongoing dialogue between the government and industry players to ensure effective policy implementation that meets intended outcomes. The US-ABC, a non-profit organization, plays a vital role in researching and analyzing economic, environmental, financial, political, and social conditions across ASEAN countries.
