Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended and addressed the 19th East Asian Summit in Vientiane, Laos, on October 11. The 19th EAS also saw the participation of leaders and representatives from other ASEAN member states, Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Russia, and the US.
