Besar Tanjung: The police have arrested another individual believed to be linked in a brawl that occurred during a mixed martial arts (MMA) competition in Besar Tanjung, Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam here two days ago.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Shah Alam district police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim stated that the suspect, a 61-year-old man, was apprehended at a restaurant in Puchong around 10 pm yesterday. The police revealed that the suspect has a history of eight prior records. He is currently under a three-day remand to assist in the ongoing investigations.

The police have also extended the remand period for the other two suspects, who were arrested on February 23, by an additional day. Authorities are investigating the potential involvement of gangsters in the incident, which escalated from an argument between two contestants whose bouts were cancelled, leading to a brawl involving 15 individuals.
