Kuala lumpur: Police are looking into allegations of bullying and have confirmed the deaths of two private college students who fell from a condominium along Persiaran Pertahanan, Taman Melati here on Wednesday. Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus stated that the incidents involved a 22-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man, who fell from the 22nd and 35th floors, respectively.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the woman was found on the eighth floor at 6.48 am and was pronounced dead, while the man was discovered dead at the back of the building at 9.35 pm. The autopsies revealed that both victims died from multiple injuries due to falls from height, with no criminal elements involved. The cases have been classified as sudden deaths.
At 1.57 pm on the same day, the mother of the female victim lodged a police report, expressing her dissatisfaction and claiming her daughter was a victim of bullying at a private institution in Setapak. Investigations revealed that both victims attended the same college in Setapak. The case continues to be investigated under Section 507B of the Penal Code, with police working to obtain witness statements and the victims' profiles and backgrounds.
