Kelana jaya: Electricity supply that was disrupted following a fire on Wednesday in the Main Switch Board (MSB) room of an apartment in SS8 in Kelana Jaya was restored late last night.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) stated that temporary supply via a mobile generator set (genset) was made available at 12.10 am after the Joint Management Body (JMB) completed repair works on components needed for the genset connection.

"This temporary supply is provided for the safety and comfort of residents while full repair works on the joint management body-owned MSB are carried out by the building contractor," TNB mentioned in the statement posted on its Facebook page.

TNB further noted that it will continue to monitor the situation and is ready to provide technical assistance to the building contractor if needed.

Recently, a video circulated on social media showing an apartment block left in darkness after the fire at the MSB room, affecting some 1,000 residents.
